Registrations open for Society seminar
By Weed Society of New South Wales
“Using Herbicides Effectively in the Future” - A seminar to be held 17 July 2013 at the Hornsby RSL Club.
Herbicides have a place in weed management in public parks and recreational areas, bushland regeneration, noxious weed control and agricultural and industrial control.
How up-to-date are you with current federal and state legislation – including permit use and what chemical use qualifications you need to use herbicides; using herbicides in sensitive environments and assessing risks; understanding and reducing drift; techniques for using herbicides effectively with minimal environmental impact; what new products are being developed and environmental data demands for registration?
If you are involved in weed management or hands-on control this seminar has been designed for you.
Hornsby RSL Club is easily accessible by public transport with Hornsby railway station 100 metres away, and is close to the F3 Freeway. All Day parking is available in the Club’s parking area.
The society looks forward to seeing you at this important and informative seminar and asks if you could bring the seminar to the attention of your colleagues.
Full details of the program, registration/payment details, location map and contact details are available from the Events page.
